Final individual task!

Your starting point for this task is either the topic of your academic writing or the topic of your informative speech. You will get to put this topic in a new context, and come up with a product related to a new situation & context.

Suggestions: use your topic in a poem/write a song/create a children's story/be a politician & persuade the voters/create an ad or commercial for a magazine or TV or radio/have a formal debate in parliament/write a book blurb/recap a facebook conversation/create a demonstration sign/give a speech/inform a group of 13-year-olds/write a sketch/let an old married couple discuss it in the bus line, etc, etc… I am certain you can come up with even more suggestions! 

I want this to be posted on the blog in some form, so you could either film/record voices only/create an image/presentation etc.

 You should also write a brief reflection on:

1. The two first hits on Google/Bing when you search your topic. What kind of sites/texts are these hits? Describe the aim and language (briefly) of them.
2. Your choice of words/images in your own product. What did you use for inspiration? What kind of language were you aiming for? What items could you use as a role model?

The reflections should be written as comments in the blog, below your own post.
